Ben has been leading vet teams to success while serving the need of small animal and exotic patients at Ourvet for over 10 years. He has beagle crosses named Fallow and Wren, a rescue cat call Yeti (he is all white), and keeps marine fish the oldest of which is 15 years old.

Emily’s journey in veterinary nursing began at just 14 years old, where she gained hands-on experience and discovered her lifelong passion for caring for animals.

Emily has had the incredible opportunity to complete voluntary work at the world-renowned Australia Zoo, further strengthening her skills and deepening her love for all creatures great and small.

She holds Certificates II and III in Animal Studies and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through The University of Queensland. With her strong knowledge, dedication, and enthusiasm, Emily is committed to providing exceptional care to every patient she meets.

At home, she’s kept busy caring for her own little zoo — three cats, a collection of fish, and a snake!

Jessica has been working with people through every stage of care. She has a special interest in puppy development, client education, and creating positive experiences for animals during their visits. Outside the clinic, Jessica enjoys spending times with her pets, attending concerts and festivals, playing card games such as Magic the Gathering, and exploring creative hobbies including writing and storytelling.

Jessica shares her love of animals with her black Domestic Short Hair cat named Shadow, a pet domestic Rainbow Lorikeet called Larry (affectionately known as “Little Boy”), and a baby Freshwater Tiger Moray Eel named Murray.
