Bec is our amazing vet nurse and has been with us for 6 years. She grew up on the Sunshine Coast, but started her nursing career in Hervey Bay. Thankfully, she decided to move back to become a vital part of our nursing team. She has two grown up children and lives with two cavoodles named Winnie and Roxy who love their treats a little too much!

Amanda is the OG OurVet Kawana vet! Having been here since the clinic doors opened 13 years ago, Amanda has cared for patients their entire lives. Amanda has a beautiful kelpie cross called Pippa and has 3 boys to keep her busy. She has a keen interest in caffeinating!

Enya has been with OurVet for 7 years having emigrated to Australia in 2015. She has a border collie 'Haggis' named after her first oncology patient when she was at University. In 2020, Enya obtained her private pilot's license (a dream come true) and loves ALL things aviation! Her favourite aspect of veterinary medicine is dentistry which she absolutely adores. There is no better feeling than treating a patient with pain due to dental disease go home happy and healthy after their dental procedure.

Jordyn is our longest serving vet nurse and has been with OurVet for 11 years! Always wearing her signature hair style - her bun, she has the unique ability to remember clients and their pets from when she first started at the clinic! She has 3 dogs, Bear, Cleo and Lexi and has a very soft spot for chihuahuas.

Katharine is our practice manager and qualified vet nurse, originally starting her career here at Best Friends Pet Supercentre 13 years ago. She decided to take the plunge 8 years ago to become a vet nurse, and has never looked back. Katharine has a rescue dog called Tex (named after AFL player Taylor Walker) and would one day love to work with elephants.
