Our vision to change the landscape of pet care came to life in 2007 with the opening of our very first Our Vet Clinic in Geelong. As an integral part of the Best Friends Pets complete pet care solution precinct, pet owners were able to access a comprehensive range of pet care products, premium professional services, and personalised information in pet health and preventative care, all under one roof for the first time in Australia!

Over the years we have continued to pioneer programs and services that support our mission to create a “happy & healthy” life for pets, pet parents and our people. Our Vet is the cornerstone of every Best Friends superstore. We are proud to be a boutique family of general practices that deliver thorough & comprehensive pet care to an enormous cross-section of the pet-owning community. Together we make a difference.

We understand only a vet can really understand the challenges, rewards and changing needs of our profession. This is why all our Support Team are experienced veterinarians. They will help you navigate the unexpected in an environment where no one is ever expected to do more than they can but might want to learn & do something new.

“Think Adoption First” isn’t just a pet-ownership philosophy we talk about. Our Kitten Adoption Program delivers forever homes for around 1000 kittens annually.
